He is a technocrat with a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from the United Kingdom, the company brings together scientific knowledge and real-world agricultural experience.

As part of the Skywin Group, with over 35 years of expertise in fertilizers, micronutrients, pesticides, and bio-agricultural inputs, Prasmo Agri builds on a strong foundation of industry trust and execution.

Our technology

We use patented technology developed by the CSIR; Central Salt and Marine Chemicals Research Institute (CSMCRI) for the cultivation of marine red algae along the east coast of Tamil Nadu.

This enables controlled and sustainable farming of Kappaphycus alvarezii, a key raw material used in carrageenan production.

The result is a reliable, scalable system that ensures both quality and sustainability at the source.

Manufacturing Facility

Our manufacturing unit is located in Thennur Village, Kumbakonam (Tamil Nadu), spread across a 4-acre facility equipped with dedicated machinery for marine raw material processing and polysaccharide extraction.

Seaweed harvested at the coast is pre-processed and brought into controlled environments for further value addition.
